A sound designer and voice actress working across Scotland and London during COVID.

In her final year of studying at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, she set up Scattered Reverb as a space for herself and other creatives to delve into the immersive arts again.

​

Since beginning her journey as a practitioner, Maya has found extreme passion within the realm of binaural sound, creating music, audio dramas and sound design throughout her years in university.

​

She also has a background in radio, which she studied at Edinburgh Granton College, before her degree, producing a student politics show called Round The Table for Boom Radio.

Her credits include: Speaker Coaching for TEDxRCSSD from 2019 to 2021. Writing and Sound Designing for The Resistance Collection in The Embassy, RCSSD, in 2019. Curating and sound designing KEYSMASH Festival in 2020. Sound designing for PUNCTUM with photographer Charlie Sambrook in 2021.
